Member+1 to that. I have been looking for doing that as well. but no success so far.
Bouma
MemberAnother up on this. It is not high prio, but a “nice to have”.
Bouma
MemberI am looking for something like that too. It should be something like a RSS feed from that internal Calendar, for the game selected, to be put on another site, or joomla module.
Bouma
MemberGreat, glad to know you are ok.
I am no genius in coding and scripts, but if you need any help, let me know. at least for anything graphical that you might need :D.
And i am sure some programmers here might want to help as well.Take care.

MemberThe Idea of Gilce here is, for instance, SWTOR has 16 Sub-classes. So I add the 16 Classes. Then, the Guild has presence on TSW, which has PLENTY of “classes” if i can say. Adding all this in the same “database” will simply offer huge lkist of classes in every games you have in your RP.
What could be nice, is to add a GAME list. That will offer to the Admin, the choice to link the Guilds, Classes, Races Roles, to that specific Game.
So when someone creates a character for lotro, it offers first the choice of the game. Then, after selection, the rest is dynamically showed.
just my 2 cents here.

MemberHey T,
Any news about this little option?
Bouma
MemberThat could be a nice feature to offer, but with the option to turn on/off the feature in the backend.

MemberLess than a week has past, and no one complains :D. so consider this Fixed in 0.7.0.
Bouma
MemberEven after I was using the latest DEV pack, Joomla detected a new version. 0.7.0. After doing the update, it seems it has fixed the problem, since the problem was happening to me too, and now, not more. I did disable the User – Raidplanner plugin from Joomla anyway, and will see the feedbacks from the members.

MemberAlright. I’ll try to be more clear. (I was at work 😀 )
– Community Builder : v1.8
– Nothing special with character names, it is a simple name, and now seems to happen to the majority of members.
– Mostly linked, means, some are link to a user, some not. Tho those who are not linked, i removed them, so they can create again a new one.for the CB plugin config.

Bouma
MemberI am using Community Builder. And it seems they are in majority linked.
Bouma
MemberAlright, I’ll ask the person that actually found the possible reason to this bug, to try on the 0.7 version. Which I did installed now. Will let you know.
Bouma
MemberThis is great, no need to do it fency :D.
Could you add the links, to be shown after the update process? so people can directly click the link right after installation of the patch.
This is how i see things when i do projects.
is it “nice to have” not a “must have”. in this case, it is a “nice to have”.Bouma
MemberHey Taracque, any news on this? 😀
Bouma
MemberIt is logic that a warning happens when the name is already taken. Since you are using the same Database. to avoid confusion and error from the component, I suggest you to create a user for each game, with different suffix. like Bouma_swtor, Bouma_lotro. It is not GREAT, but this could help for now.
for the other problem, always make sure that the member/user is connected via the main page, meaning, the CommunityBuilder or Joomla login, and not any other com/mod. (example Kunena forum). for some reasons, Cache with Kunena not working perfectly.
