    Hi,

Thanks for the great component, I’ve been looking for a good working raid calendar for lotro for a long time and finally found it!

I do have one problem and that is when downloading the calendar to my Outlook the time is 2 hours wrong. If I have an event on my website for 20.00, it shows up for 22.00 in my Outlook?

    Cheers
    Micke

Does your timezone settings match in Joomla and on your computer? Can you please check the .ics file with a text editor and check X-WR-TIMEZONE and DTSTART lines in it?
Which version of Outlook are you using?
It seems outlook needs a special section in the .ics file to handle timezone:

Joomla is set for Sweden/Stockholm timezone, but in the .ics file it says:
    X-WR-TIMEZONE:Europe/London
    DTSTAMP;TZID=Europe/London:20120603T200000

    I’m using Outlook 2010

Can you please try to insert this into the .ics file:

    BEGIN:VTIMEZONE
    TZID:Europe/London
    BEGIN:DAYLIGHT
    TZOFFSETFROM:+0000
    RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=3;BYDAY=-1SU
    DTSTART:19810329T010000
    TZNAME:GMT+01:00
    TZOFFSETTO:+0100
    END:DAYLIGHT
    BEGIN:STANDARD
    TZOFFSETFROM:+0100
    RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=10;BYDAY=-1SU
    DTSTART:19961027T020000
    TZNAME:GMT
    TZOFFSETTO:+0000
    END:STANDARD
    END:VTIMEZONE

right after the X-WR-TIMEZONE:Europe/London line, and check if that fixes Outlook.

that make the 20.00 event show up for 21.00, so it’s 1 hour closer.

I just wonder, why you have Europe/London timezone, as you should be in Europe/Paris. Please check the timezone setting in you Joomla profile also.
So this problem has 2 parts:
    1. timezone is wrong you should be in Europe/Paris
    2. Outlook doesn’t handle Timezones without timezone specification in the .ics file.

As I see there are 2 ways to fix it: either I convert the dates to UTC, or I have add timezone definitions (and find out why you are Europe/London instead of Europe/Paris)

Which version of Joomla are you using?
