Hi, I am having problems changes the ranks from the default. I set up my ranks how I want them in the “parameters” under raidplanner com. But the default rank is still the on the frontend. I feel like I am missing something, can you some shine light on this?

Which version of Joomla are you using? In Joomla 1.5 you have to setup the ranks in Menu manager (where you setup the Roster page). There is a Parameters (Component) on the right side, where you can set it up.

I am using  joomla 1.5. I went to component–>Raidplanner and clicked on parameters and set them up how I want the ranks to be. However, they do not update on my page.

As I wrote above, in Joomla 1.5 you have to setup the ranks in Menu manager.
So on the backend go to Menus menu, and select the menu where you have the roaster (e.g. Mainmenu). Click on Roster (maybe it’s called something else, sorry I really don’t know how your menu item called), and on the right side click on “Parameters (Component)”. Enter the ranks there.

What teracque said is that u have to change the rank names in that menu parameters.
So to not be lost: You must go to administration, Menus>Mainmenu*>Rosterlink and change the parameters, there you will have basic and component parameters.

In the component tab you will have another rank list to fill.
