I noticed you state that you would help someone else with their game if they could provide API info & wondered if you could do the same for Lord of the Rings Online?

Here’s the info for the API for your consideration:

The only drawback of LOTRO api, that it needs an API key (I requested it a while ago, and Turbine wasn’t able to send me one in the last 3 months!). So even if I can make it, you will need your own api key from Turbine.
So I need the API key first, then I can implement the sync routines, and to make it work for you, you will need your own api key.

Wow, 3 months? Good grief, that’s sad.

Ok, I’ll submit a request for it & get it to you. Hopefully it won’t take as long.

As of 0.6.0 a Lotro plugin has been added, which can synchronize the roster with data.lotro.com site. You will need an API key from Turbine more info:

Is that working? installed the plugin, but can’t find it in guilds ? And what about the API key (link not working)?

I also wondered whether syncing with DDO and EQII would be possible?

Forget about the previous message. I received an API Key, yet now I keep getting this message :

API Key “w” does not match developer identifier “guildroster”

As if  ‘guildroster’ was my dev name. It seems parameters aren’t passed to the url, since when I enter in my browser the whole URL (with my dev name and API Key), I get the data feed.

And as regards DDO (APi Methods here, needs dev name and API Key – I asked for one) and EQII (example here with EverFrost being the server and The Lost Legion the guild’s name), I had a quick look ate the feeds, they don’t seem very different from what we get in Lotro’s.

    Any news on this problem?

Sorry for the long delay. If you still having problems, send me the DDO developer name and API key.
    http://data.ddo.com///guildroster/w//
is the URL for the data exchange. You error message means, that developer name and API keys are not built into the URL.
