RaidCall for Mac
Welcome to RaidCall for Mac (v7.2-1 last update: 2013/04/22)
(for Mac OS X 10.6 and later)
As RaidCall dropped Macintosh support in their software, I’ve made a modified Windows version (a custom Wine wrapper around it), which runs on Mac(!!!).
It can be downloaded from here (New, 7.2.0 version, should work with Mac OS X > 10.6, this is a test version. Report bugs in forum pls!)
This version CAN be used in Push To Talk mode, however it’s really untested.
Enable access for assistive devices must be check in Universal Access system preference, to make PTT work!
First launch can be very long (up to 5 minutes) without any indication, that’s anything happens, please be patient!
If RaidCall crashes, start it with Alt key pressed, it will resets RaidCall preferences (that usually helps)
Current status of PTT mode:
Initial PTT code has been inserted, so it should work somehow. Only keyboard key can be used for PTT and there are some limitations:
- Command key is recognized as Alt, and alt key’s are not working.
- If you press Alt-Command-Q key it will quits RaidCall, even if it’s running in background.

This is an alpha version, may contains serious bugs.
Overlay not working, and probably never will. Once I’ve finished the PTT issue I’ll check that again.

Updates are ENABLED in this version, but be carefull, any update MAY kill the Mac version.
My RC account have been banned ( I really don’t care, but FuckYou RaidCall, worst support ever! )

Sorry, I’m still working on it. There’s a new issue found with 10.8.2 which a bit trickier. I really hope I can post a new version early next week.
Until I can only suggest the workaround what you can read on the top of the page.

I think my Raidcall updated now I can’t run the program. I have tried to delete it and reinstall.. and still the same problem. What can I do to fix this?
In Finder use Go / Go To Folder… command. Copy-paste “~/Library/Application Support” into the dialog box (without quotes), and press Go. Delete the raidcall folder from the opened Application Support directory, and relaunch RaidCall.
Same problem, but I cant find the raidcall folder you are asking in finder :S
Do you have any error message in Finder when you try to open that folder?
That folder must be there, otherwise your account should not work.
Download this file and right click on it, and select Open (doubleclick will not work on 10.8 systems). That will open the Application Support folder, where you can find the raidcall folder. Trash it, and try relaunch RaidCall.

I tried that and then went to reopen, but my computer doesn’t do anything.
I found out what was wrong. I blocked the port with Little Snitch. My mistake.

I apreciate ur job doing Raidcall compatible with Mac and I’d like to know if u can do it with other program used in Diablo 3. Its Loot Alert compatible with Diablo 3 1.0.5 (http://www.ownedcore.com/forums/diablo-3/diablo-3-bots-programs/375634-farming-utility-loot-alert.html)
I will be eternally grateful if you can do that.

how can i get it running on my 10.5.8 OSX?

It worked before, but now i just cant open it… =/ i dont know why…

Same is happening to me. It was working yesterday and now It’s not anymore.
I already trashed the RaidCall folder but still the same problem. It’s a shame cause this one was the only one I found that was working. Thanks anyway!

I do what you say up there, to erase the “radical” folder but still not works, I try it delete it and re install it but is just the same, what I need to do to get it working?

I am playing on Taiwan Server, but the Taiwan Raidcall is separated from the this raidcall, which means I can’t use this raidcall to connect the taiwan raidcall.
Can you help me with how to configure it to connect to the Taiwan raidcall?

alguien sabe decirme como se puede utilizar el raidcall a la vez jugando al wow, sin tener que estar cambiando de pestaña, ya que uso la tecls de shif y me toca el ir cambiando de ventana?
Minimiza ambas ventanas para que quepan en la pantalla, en el WoW la opcion sale en opciones de mac en el menu dentro del juego.

Hey, RaidCall has a bug where people can’t hear the music that I’m playing. I’m using the hardware option and pressing the music button, but no one can hear anything beyond my voice. Thank you for the Mac version, but I really want to know if it’s just my system that’s bugging out or if this is a common problem. Thanks!
This version runs well on my Lion 10.7. However I want to use this version to connect Taiwan server. Where should I change for this config? I did add “211.72.192.8 gateway.raidtalk.com.tw” in /ect/hosts but it did not work.
This version doesn’t use gateway.raidtalk.com.tw address. I really don’t know about Taiwanese servers, but I guess you should assign the IP to gateway.raidtalk.com (without the .tw suffix)

I’m working on it, but I’ve only 1-2 hours/week to work on that. Unfortunately the XQuartz server needs to be reworked, which is huge.

i got the acount on but when i log in to the server i get a dde error? how do i fix it ?
Simply close the DDE error window. It seems that RaidCall tries to get your facebook details (that’s happens on Windows), and that’s caused the DDE error.
it says DDE failure, i did what you said but it doesnt allow me to connect to raidcall
true it doesn’t connect to a server at all..
i can close the DDE failure box but i get a msg ” Loading failed Please try again”

Hi! I’m having trouble downloading the newest version (7.0.2)…the download always hangs at 28mb or so and then I get a network error. I’m not having trouble downloading anything else…any ideas?

Dear Creator) PPT mode is so in need… also there is a eсho when I playing in free talk mode. What is the cause it might be?
