Hi Taracque,
Somewhere I read in the discussions that you are not willing to make a Jom Social Plugin because there charge money for their Component and you are not willing to spend money just to provide a plugin for it. Now i can´t find this discussion anymore but I wrote with the people of Jom social and they replied:
If you already have a developer which will create the plugins for jomsocial and especially if he is going to give them for free,, he doesn’t have to pay the license for JomSocial
Just tell them to contact us and refer to this thread and we will be more then happy to provide them with the dev access (not the same as UDA) so they can obtain a free copy to develop plugins for our platform.Many Users and I will be pleased if you would like to make a plugin for it, that’s will be great I will be happy to donated something for it because I know it’s a hard work you do and you do a really god job on it and all users that using Joomla for MMORPGs are happy about your support to the mmorpg community.
The link where you can get in contact to Jom social for the free copy of Jom Social to make the plugin: http://www.jomsocial.com/forum/installation/87-issues-and-raidplaner#268

2012/10/12 at 17:55 #13292012/10/25 at 12:27 #1337Ok I’ll contact them, and I’ll try to make it for the next version. Thanks for you info.
2012/10/29 at 16:02 #1344I’ve got a copy from JomSocial guys, so I can start to play with it.
It seems that JomSocial doesn’t support custom profile field types, so some other method needed for Character editor, selector.
If you have any idea how the integration should be done (except profile data, which is clear) please share you ideas.-

2012/10/29 at 17:28 #1346I’ve made the initial version of this. If you wanted to test it here is how you can install it into your system:
Download these two files:
https://raw.github.com/Taracque/RaidPlanner/development/3rd_party_plugins/jomsocial/fields/rp_characters.php
https://raw.github.com/Taracque/RaidPlanner/development/3rd_party_plugins/jomsocial/fields/rp_characters.xmland put them into the com_community/libraries/fields directory of you Joomla installation.
Then you need to edit the customfields.xml file in the same folder, add
<field>
<type>rp_characters</type>
<name>RaidPlanner Characters</name>
</field>
lines just before the </fields> line.
If you save it, you will se a new field type called RaidPlanner Charaters in you JomSocial Custom profiles window.-

2013/02/04 at 03:55 #1375Okay its works but somehow its do not take all insert charakters into the raidplaner only the first 2 get into it in the backend are no charkters shown under the user.To its missing the Holiday field.
Yes i have a idea the raids can be shown in the events of jomsocial and with a click on it the raidplaner popup of the raid shows up.
Thumbs up thats great.
